Survival suits are designed to help protect those on board from hypothermia in the water with stretchy, flame-retardant 5mm neoprene. Inflatable headrests, face shields and integrated five-finger gloves provide additional protection against the cold, while allowing comfortable movement. Other safety features, such as a pocket that fits most approved lights, a SOLAS whistle, and SOLAS-grade 3M™ Scotchlite™ PS 3150-A reflective material with adhesive backing, allow rescue teams to find more easily from people in the water. AOnce help arrives, the stainless steel lifting harness and rescue line with carabiner speed up rescue attempts from a boat or helicopter. Before hitting the water, those on board will be able to immediately find the right size thanks to the color-coded bags, and the large size makes it easy to quickly set up the device.
