Change in USCG regulations

The USCG stipulated that effective February 26, 2016, all commercial vessels
navigating the coastal waters of the United States must have on board an approved lifeboat
that ensures that no part of an individual is submerged in the water. This means that
basic rescue floats and similar systems must be phased out and replaced with
approved craft in order for the vessel to meet the new requirement.
