The low profile head and recessed flapper provide a more attractive installation than the typical external flapper scupper. In addition, the flap is molded in a flexible thermoplastic that is completely impervious to the effects of the sun and chemicals present in the marine environment. These flappers will not curl, rot or lose their sealing ability. These innovative scuppers fit together easily to adapt to different hull thicknesses. Mating ribs lock parts together for secure installation. The male part can be cut to fit thinner hulls. Available in two different female lengths to fit hulls from 1 1/2 inches to 3 5/8 inches. Installs in a 1 7/8 inch hole. These recessed flapper scuppers are designed to be fitted to a drain tube or tobe mounted directly to a 1 1/2 inch thru-hole shell with four screws. They feature the same "anti-loop" valve as the flush-mounted scupper above.
