ModuLite HD protector with integrated circuit and overload protection and 5-pin connector for emergency light or surge brake interlock circuit

Features :

The unit is rated for up to 4.2 amps for the turn/stop circuits and 7.5 amps for the taillight circuit and 4.2 amps for backup circuit
Draws power directly from the vehicle's battery and uses less than 5 mA from the vehicle's circuit to sense the activation and deactivation of trailer functions.
Works with LED/incandescent bulbs (vehicle and trailer)
Has built-in resettable short circuit and overload protection, to protect yourself and the tow vehicle from short circuits and installation wiring mishaps.
Designed not to send feedback through vehicle circuits
The brakes ofthe trailer will override the hazard lights when the brake is activated
The tail light circuit has been improved to work with vehicles that use pulse width modulation (PWM), this will enable the converter turns on fully and gives trailer lights full brightness while activated
Works with most vehicles with a multiplex system for lighting
Does not work with vehicles equipped with a low side switch
Integrated 5-way electrical wiring connector. Fifth circuit added for brake lock or emergency light circuit on trailers (some units will come with a 5-way cap. Mounting bracket sold separately)
Can be used on a 5-way system 2 or 3 wires
All solid state components in potted encapsulation
Includes integrated protective cover
