It has a scan function which is not like the old radios where you press scan mode and if someone is talking it will stop on that channel program the channels you want to scan by just going to that. station and holding down the scan button until it beeps, just like programming your car radio stations The company sent it quickly and for free, in fact, it e.st arrived earlier than expected, I gave it 4. starts because for some reason the third time I took the boat there is a popping sound now. I don't know what is causing this. I will check my ground wires. Other than that, it's a good value.
