54MM Tube Type Fuel Transmitter
The advantage of a tube type transmitter is that it uses as little space as possible in a tank , without worrying about the direction of the floating arm. The float is contained in a cylindrical aluminum housing and relies on two resistive wires that protect it from the "extreme fuel sloshing" that occurs in many shallow, large or irregularly sized tanks. VDO tube style fuel senders feature a standard SAE 5-hole mounting flange and can fit tank depths ranging from 6" (150mm) to 31-1/2" (800mm) .
