The tubular design acts as a shock absorber to prevent the gauge needle from moving due to fuel splashes.
The floatless fuel sender has no side-to-side movement, meaning it has no moving parts to wear out. It is top mounted and uses the standard aftermarket 5-hole SAE mounting flange and comes complete with neoprene gasket and mounting hardware.
