i16VSD Compact Marine Air Conditioning Unit - 115V - 16,000 BTU (Generation 2)

The i-line VSD (Variable Speed ) series units Drive) from Velair feature reversing technology for better efficiency, less power consumption and more starting power peaks. VSD units provide optimal comfort without fluctuation in temperature or humidity and operate smoothly even on smaller generators and low shore power.

Stand-alone VSD air conditioners offer the best of existing technology: a compressor with brushless direct current. motor and an inverter which constantly controls the speed and cooling power delivered.

The compressor continually changes its operating speed depending on the ambient temperature and the set temperature. The compressor also runs at maximum power to cool quickly.
