smartAIS XB-8000 transponder with WiFi

Unlike normal AIS which sends and receives AIS data, WatchMate The XB-8000 features smartAIS, an active system with intelligent alarm logic that quickly alerts you to potential dangers. WatchMate XB-8000 is a Class B AIS transponder with a two-channel parallel receiver and transmitter. It transmits the position and details of your vessel and receives the same type of information from other vessels equipped with AIS transponders.

AIS data is sent every few seconds and includes information such as heading, speed, latitude, longitude and heading. Static vessel information is sent every few minutes and includes name, vessel type, length, width, draft, etc.
