Bluetooth Smart Enabled The Blue Smart IP67 charger is the wireless solution for monitoring voltage and current, changing settings and updating the charger when new features become available. With Bluetooth, the functionality of the IP67 charger is enhanced and is similar to our IP22 and IP65 chargers.
Fully encapsulated: waterproof, impact resistant and fire protected. Water, oil or dirt will not damage the Blue Smart IP67 charger. The case is made of cast aluminum and the electronics are cast in resin.
Greatest efficiency ever! Setting a new industry standard: with an efficiency of 92% or better, these chargersrs waste three to four times less heat. And once the battery is fully charged, power consumption is reduced to less than one watt, five to ten times the industry standard.
5-step adaptive charging algorithm: bulk –absorption – reconditioning – floating – storage The Blue Smart Charger features microprocessor-controlled "adaptive" battery management. The "adaptive" function will automatically optimize the charging process in relation to how the battery is used.
Storage mode: less maintenance and aging when the battery is not in use. Storage mode starts when the battery has not been discharged for 24 hours. In storage mode, the float voltage is reduced to 2.2 V/cell (13.2 V for a 12 V battery) to minimize gassing and corrosion of the positive plates. Once a week, the tension is brought back to the levelabsorption to "equalize" the battery. This feature prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation, a major cause of early battery failure.
Also charges Li-ion (LiFePO4) batteries. LiFePO4 batteries are charged with a simple mass – absorption – float algorithm.
Protected against overheating Can be used in a hot environment such as a machine room. The output current will decrease as the temperature increases up to 60°C, but the charger will not fail.
