Quality without compromise – TheEpoxy powder coated aluminum enclosures with drip protection and stainless steel fasteners withstand the rigors of an adverse environment: heat, humidity and salt air. Circuit panels are protected with an acrylic coating for maximum corrosion resistance. Temperature sensors ensure that power components will always operate within specified limits, if necessary through automatic reduction of output current in extreme environmental conditions.
Universal input voltage range of 90 at 265 V AC and also suitable for DC power (AC-DC and DC-DC operation) All models will operate without any adjustment necessary over an input voltage range of 90 to 265 volts, whether 50 Hz or 60 Hz.
The chargers also accept 90-400 V DC power.
Three outputs that can each provide full output current. Three ISO outputsUsed to charge 3 battery banks simultaneously. Each output is capable of supplying the full rated current.
Three-stage charging, with temperature compensation The Centaur charges at the overall rate until the output is reduced to 70% of the rated amperage, after which a 4-hour timer begins. After the timed period, the charger switches to the floating rate. An internal temperature sensor is used to compensate the charging voltage with – 2 mV/ºC (– 1 mV/ºF) per cell. A DIP switch is available to select optimal charge/float voltages for flooded lead acid, gel or AGM batteries
