Victron Energy PMP485021010 - MultiPlus 48/5000/70-100 230V VE.Bus Inv Electrical

The Victron MultiPlus is a combined inverter and battery charger in one unit. The PMP245021010 is suitable for charging 24 volt batteries from 187 to 265 V AC input, as well as producing a true sine wave 230 V AC output from these 24 volt batteries.

When connected to shore power or a generator, the MultiPlus will draw significant current and use it to power any AC loads connected to the output side. Any remaining energy will then be used to charge the batteries, while protecting the power side from overcharging. If there are periods where the AC load exceeds the input power, either by adding other devices or disconnecting input power, the multi will switch to battery power within 20 milliseconds, so fast that electronic equipment will continue to operate without any interruption. /p>

If more power is neededire, up to 6 Victron MultiPlus units can be used in parallel operation. Each unit also has protections against issues such as short circuits, over/under voltage, high temperatures, etc. to avoid breakdowns. Monitoring and controlling your Victron MultiPlus is also easy, via the Color Control GX, Venus GX or any smartphone/tablet or computer with an internet connection.
