Phoenix VE.Direct 12VDC inverter - 1200VA - 120V

Inverters allow you to power domestic equipment - requiring 230V/120V AC - using batteries "hobby" or "automotive" rated at 12V, 24V or 48V DC.

The VE.Direct port can be connected to:

A computer (VE.Direct to USB interface cable required)
Smartphones, tablets, MacBooks and other Apple and Android devices (VE.Direct Smart Bluetooth dongle required)

Fully configurable:

Low battery voltage alarm triggering and reset levels
Cutout levels and low battery voltage restart
Dynamic cut-off: load-dependent cut-off level
Output voltage 210 - 245 V
Frequency 50 Hz or 60 Hz

Proven Reliability

Proven full bridge plus toroidal transformer topologyits reliability for many years. The inverters are short circuit resistant and protected against overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature.

High starting power

Needed to start loads such as power converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or power tools.

ECO mode

In ECO mode, the inverter goes into standby mode when the load drops below a preset value (min load: 15W). Once in standby, the inverter will turn on for a short period (adjustable, default: every 2.5 seconds). If the load exceeds a preset level, the inverter will remain on.

Remote on/off

A remote on/off switch can be connected to a bipolar connector, or between the battery plus and the left contact of the bipolar connector.

To transfer the charge vers another AC source: the automatic transfer switch

For our low-power inverters, we recommend our Filax automatic transfer switch. The Filax features a very short switching time (less than 20 milliseconds) so that computers and other electronic equipment continue to operate without interruption.
