Specially designed for boats from 5 to 7 meters, the C260 model is a furling system autonomous halyard. Economical and easy to install on the existing forestay, the C260 requires no maintenance.
The autonomous halyard system
On light on sailboats - especially split-rigged - it's usually difficult to get a tight forestay. The C260 with its self-contained halyard helps minimize forestay sag by reducing mast compression created by a combination of halyard and sail loads.
Ease of installation
The C260 does not require specialist attachment to the forestay bow head, it is simply attached to the lower end of the forestay (eyelet and hole plates or tensioner). For boats transported and stored on a trailer, the C260 can be separated into two sections reducing therisk of damage during transport.
EUsage
The autonomous halyard passes over a sheave box mounted at the top of the profile and descends towards a sheave and a cam cleat. Once the sail is hoisted and tensioned, the remaining length of the halyard is used as a furling line.
