This transducer shows amazing bottom details in shallow and medium depths down to 274 m (900').
When the transducer is installed almost flush with the hull, the tilt of the element corrects the deadrise of the hull, directing the beam directly downward. This ensures maximum echo return to the transducer and more accurate depth readings.
