Airmars Chirp-ready low profile transducer models are the perfect addition to small boats such as center consoles. The high frequency band, transmitting between 130 and 210 kHz, has a narrow beamwidth, excellent for locating fish clinging to wrecks, reefs and other structures. The high frequency also shows amazing target separation on baitfish and schooling gamefish. The SS175H offers up to 80 kHz of total bandwidth in a single installation for superior shallow water performance and bottom detail.
TheTilted Element Transducers have the element fixed at 20, 12, or 0 angle in the housing. Since the transducer is installed almost flush with the hull, the tilt corrects the dead center of the hull. It orients the ceramic element horizontally to guarantee maximum echo returns towards the transducer.
The SS175H is available in three inclined element models:
- Fixed 20 inclined version for 16 to 24 people. hull attachment angles
- Correctiond 12 inclined version for 8 to 15 hull grip angles
- Fixed version 0 inclined for 0 to 7 hull grip angles
