Airmar's low profile Chirp transducer models are the perfect complementfor small boats like center consoles. The low frequency band performs best in deep water, providing excellent coverage and tracking in deeper depths. The SS175L transducer covers up to 20 kHz of total bandwidth in a single installation and offers enormous deep water performance.

Tilted element transducers have the ceramic element fixed at an angle of 20°, 12° or 0° in the transducer housing. . The transducer is installed almost flush with the hull and the angled element corrects hull deadrise by directing the beam directly downward. This ensures maximum echo returns to the transducer and more accurate depth readings.
