The AIT1500 is an ultra-compact Class B transponder with two outputs; NMEA 0183 and USB, allowing it to work with the majority of existing and existing AIS compatible chartplotters or computer software on the market today. Featuring a remote mute button option, two NMEA 0183 inputs and outputs, an integrated USB cable, four status LEDs and a new rugged ABS plastic housing, the AIT1500 is the transponder AIS ideal for small boat.

Configure your vessel with fixed data, such as MMSI, call sign, boat name, dimensions, etc. are made easier thanks to the included Windows and Mac* compatible proAIS2 software. Once configured, the unit will provide AIS data to a PC or Mac running appropriate navigation software or a dedicated chartplotter, such as the latest Garmin, Raymarine, Navico, Standard Horizon and Furuno units.

Designed specifically to bring the benefits of Class B AIS to small vessels, it uses a high-sensitivity internal GPS antenna to save space and reduce installation time. Simply connect to power and a plotter, plug in a VHF antenna and you're in business.

AIS regulations require the Class B transponder to incorporate its own receiver. GPS positioning, which normally involves installing an external receiver. antenna. GPS signals will pass through plastic, glass and GRP and therefore can be mounted below decks of many bateaux. A dedicated VHF antenna is required for AIS or a suitable VHF-AIS antenna splitter such as the SPL2000. It can also connect to WLN10.
