Max Charge MC-614 Harness-Free Multi-Stage Regulator - 12V

The Balmar Max Charge MC-614 is the latest generation of intelligent, multi-stage Balmar Max Charge voltage regulators. Designed to provide precise voltage control of Balmar's high-output 12-volt alternators and other externally regulated P-type alternators, the MC-614 offers user-selectable programs for the following battery types: Discharge deep, standard embedded, gel, AGM, spiral. AGM and LiFePO4 batteries wound. The regulator also features a universal default program designed for use in vessels using voltage sensitive halogen equipment.

In addition to user-selectable preset programs, the MC-614 features of a multitude of advanced programming modes that make it possible to adapt charging to a wide variety of environments.

When it is usedUsed in conjunction with the optional MC-TS-A and MC-TS-B alternator and battery temperature sensors, the MC-614 provides the ability to monitor and read back. respond to a range of ambient temperature conditions, including reducing or stopping charging voltages, should a catastrophic overheating condition occur to the alternator or batteries.
