Each trim tab is sheared and bent, not welded. Welding changes the properties of stainless steel, which promotes corrosion. Bennett actuators feature through-hull hydraulics. There are no external pipes vulnerable to rot. Additionally, each hydraulic power unit is tested by both a person and a computer to ensure that this reliable unit deflects the trim tabs, holds securely during use, and retracts smoothly.
