BEP Dual Operation VSS Switch HD Optical 12/24 V 500 A Electrical
These voltage sensitive switches automatically detect the voltages of the connected battery bank and provide optimal and efficient charging of the second bank. VSS allows independent battery banks to be combined or isolated based on the presence of a charging source, while also providing a remotely activated, high current, emergency parallel connection. Designed and built to last in the marine environment with tinned copper conductors, stainless steel nuts and high temperature fiber reinforced plastics. Units are ignition protected, provide on/off switching operation and can be recessed or surface mounted. The remote emergency parallel function can be operated via a momentary button on the dashboard which will parallel the batteries for 10 minutes. Once these 10 minutes have elapsed, if the voltage is high enough, the sensor switchble to the voltage will remain engaged. Otherwise, it will disengage.

The VSS allows for independent battery banks to be combined or isolated based on the presence of a charging source (such as an engine alternator or battery charger), while also providing an emergency activated parallel connection remote, high current. Designed and built to last in the marine environment with tinned copper conductors, stainless steel nuts and high temperature fiber reinforced plastics. Units are ignition protected, provide on/off switching operation and can be recessed or surface mounted. The remote emergency parallel function can be operated via a buttonmomentary tone on the dashboard which will parallel the batteries for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, if the voltage is high enough, the voltage sensitive switch will remain engaged. Otherwise it will disengage.
