White vinyl liners protect the rods and are keyed to the gimbal bar to eliminate liner twisting. On boats where the bottom of the rod holder is exposed, the rounded molded bottom protects the shins. When installed in a dry storage area, attach a 1/2 inch barb fitting and route a water hose away from the dry area and safely to the hold.
