Compact battery monitor, only 124 x 62 mm x 23 mm!Based on the highly successful BM-1 marine battery monitor, the BM-1 Compact is specifically designed for applications where space is limited.
Caravans, mobile homes, campers, small boats and renewable energy installations can all benefit from the BM-1 Compact. It is capable of monitoring the performance of any 12 volt lead acid battery system with a capacity of up to 600 amp hours. The BM-1 Compact comes with a 100A precision shunt and pre-fabricated cables to allow simple do-it-yourself installation.
The unit continuously monitors voltage, current (charging or discharging) and calculates the state of charge as well as the time remaining to charge or discharge the battery.
This information can lead to more efficient use of the battery, improving its lifespan and reducing the risk ofe breakdown.
The operation is very simple. A screen displays voltage, current (charging or discharging) and a bar graph showing remaining capacity. A flashing alarm is also included to warn if capacity becomes too low. A second screen displays the remaining time available at the current charge/discharge rate as well as the remaining capacity in analog and digital format.
