Makes towing vehicle and trailer more secure by keeping them securely locked with a CURT hitch lock. Like a hitch pin and clip, a hitch lock is designed to insert into the mounting hole in the side of a receiver tube to hold a ball mount or hitch-mounted accessory in place . While a CURT hitch pin provides sufficient strength to keep a ball mount firmly attached, a CURT hitch lock goes even further.

CURT hitch locks allow users to lock the ball mount into the trailer hitch, deterring theft. and prevent anyone from detaching a trailer from the ball mount and towing it off the property without permission. This CURT hitch lock features a deadbolt design and comes with a diameter of g5/8" pin to fit 2", 2-1/2" or 3" receiver tube size. CURT deadbolt hitch locks have a solid, square-shaped locking mechanism and a curved handle for easier gripping. Deadbolt locks are keyed and activated with a simple 1/4 turn. Additionally, the bolt-on hitch lock comes with a waterproof dust cap to keep the elements out and prevent corrosion.
