The CLA2000 supports a wide range of features, including electronic chart navigation with optional C-Map MAX mapping and AIS target management. Proven and superior performance in real-world AIS message reception and transmission (12.5W) and message processing is provided by advanced SDR AIS core technology.

This cutting-edge technology therefore guarantees you to see more targets, more time and at maximum range. The CLA2000 will find applications on SOLAS mandated vessels over 300GRT. work boats, rescue services, users of inland waterways, semi-rigid boats and pleasure boats wishing toHigh-end AIS performance and security. In addition to classic AIS class B, AtoN and class A detection, the CLA2000 has software optimized to detect AIS SART and MOB devices with a dedicated icon for this class of AIS. As a result, AIS detection activation by an AIS SART beacon activates an automatic alarm. The target plot display will calculate the relative bearing of the device, allowing easy viewing of the target and rescue.

On the front panel of the CLA2000 there is an integrated micro SD card reader behind a waterproof cover. This micro SD card reader supports software updates, recording AIS data and position data to a blank card.

Compatibility with C-Map MAX cartographic maps for optional detailed background mapping is also possible. The CLA2000 has a built-in wireless interface, allowing AIS data to be sent ande position to smartphones, tablets and PCs for use with navigation apps. Devices can connect directly to the CLA2000 via supported client mode which connects to an existing wireless network or in AP mode as a standalone system.
