The WL70 can provide connections up to approximately one kilometer depending on conditions. The WL70 features a very high performance 15 dBm, 1.29 m long antenna to suck up the weakest signals, a low noise, high sensitivity internal modem and a 5 m cable ( 15) which allows simple plug n play connection via high speed USB interface.

Its threaded base fits a standard VHF type 1 (14TPI) mount (not supplied) and being fully waterproof, the WL70 can be permanently mounted outdoors or simply removed in the cockpit when docked for temporary installation. Even if your computer already has an internal Wi-Fi adapter, it can be disabled and you can take advantage of the greater range (and speed) this system will offer.
