Refrigerate for extended storage. Transition Guide expand/collapse To avoid digestive upset, it is best to acclimatize your pet bird to the new food over a period of 10 days. For the first three days, feed a mixture of 3/4 Current food and 1/4 Encore Premium food. For the next three days, give 1/2 feedcurrent and 1/2 version of Encore Premium Food. For the last three days, feed a mixture of 3/4 Encore Premium Food and 1/4 of the current mixture. After 10 days, you can only provide Encore Premium food to your cockatiel as a primary diet.
