2" Black Euro Water Temperature Gauge - Metric (40° to 120° C)

Peripherally illuminated black dial with bold white graphics, aluminum bezel black, white outline pointer and flat glass lens.

A temperature gauge works by sending a low amperage current through the gauges to ground via a variable resistance sending unit. Resistance of sending units increases or decreases with changes in temperature, pressure, etc...

As the resistance of the sender varies, so does the amount of current allowed to pass through it. 'to ground changes and the meter deviates, displaying the temperature.
