Sta-Plug™ is the new interlocking emergency socket from Forespar. A soft cone design allows it to easily fill irregular shapes of impact breaches in the hull, as well as any round hole leaks from a hose or thru-hull. Unique edge grip ribs help hold the cork in a hole, preventing water from entering. The ribs help Sta-Plug™ conform to the shape of the hole, sealing a leak near the edge where a tight fit is crucial and holding the plug more securely in place. Different in design, the Sta-Plug™ shape features a series of larger concentric ribs stepped along the length of the cone. These riblets offer two big advantages over traditional straight edge emergency plugs:

Twist and compress by hand to insert into the hole
Expands after insertion to hold in place

Intended for temporary emergency use with continuous monitoring only, it gives the skipper greater peace of mind to allow them to concentrate on keeping the boat safe.

Made from high-density foam, Sta-Plug™ will stay soft and ready to use for years and will not mold or swell like conventional wooden plugs.

Can be cut with a knife for use in irregularly shaped holes, or torn by hand near the ribs to make smaller diameter plugs for smaller holes
