If a thru-hull style stainless steel transducer is required, the 556TID-LTD/12 12 degree angled element will accommodate accommodate a tilt angle between 8° and 15°. This transducer compensates for deadrise by tilting the element inside the housing.
The transducer is labeled with an arrow on the top of the housing that should point toward the keel, whether installed on the port side or to starboard. This ensures that the inclined element inside the housing receives the correct orientation.
