A FR8005 series radar equipped with an AIS device can track the target heading, name, speed and direction of movement. With AIS it is possible to identify and track the movement of other vessels in dense fog, at night or in difficult conditions. Another advantage is that with AIS,you can identify hidden targets that radar signals can't reach, giving you more time to act. AIS can display up to 100 targets simultaneously, TT can display up to 10 different targets simultaneously.
