They provide very precise heading input to these other technologies using the latest GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System). This satellite system is composed of GPS, Galileo and GLONASS to ensure the highest accuracy and continuous coverage.

The SC70 provides a variety of data including GPS positioning, SOG (ground speed), COG (Race Over Ground), ROT (Rate Of Turn) and speed on 3 axes (front, rear and longitudinal). All this data facilitates critical maneuvers, such as docking. The compass requires no maintenanceen - a major asset for any vessel.
