Heavy Duty Transom Mount Bracket with Protection anti-spray
Mount the transducer to the transom of your boat so it stays in the water at all times forprovide excellent sonar returns. The bracket can be adjusted to allow the angle of the transducer to be parallel to the water surface.
The splash shield prevents excess water from splashing out of the transducer when the boat sails at high speed. Creates minimal drag on the boat.
Compatible with: 4 pin, 8 pin.Scanning pin or 12 pin transducers
Garmin Heavy Duty Harness Mount Model: 010-12006-11 Use this mount to provide excellent sonar return at all speeds and easily connect compatible 4-pin, 8-pin sensors. -pin or 12 pin sensors to the ship harness. Since the transducer is still in the water, the mount cannot protect the transducer from underwater obstacles and will cause some resistance on the boat. When the boat is moving at high speed, the accompanying transducer blowout cover can reduce the bExcessive water mist produced by compatible transducers. You can also use this bracket to mount the transducer on boat steps to adjust the angle of the transducer so that it is aligned with the horizontal surface; this will not create resistance on the boat. Due to this installation method, the transducer is not in the water, so when the boat is on plane, the sonar will not follow the bottom.
