U-Lube Cartridge - 3oz. *Pack of 2
U-lube is a long-lasting waterproof grease specially formulated to lubricate and protect the internal components of ball valves and to discourage harmful marine growth. U-lube's tacky texture holds it where it is applied and helps provide maximum protection against wear, rust and water washout in non-ball valve applications such as bushings and bearings exposed to humid conditions and a wide temperature range.
For ball valve applications, a Zerk fitting replaces the drain plug, allowing U lubricant to be injected into the cavity between the body of the valve and the ball when the valve is in the OPEN position. The approximate volume of grease required to fill GROCO ball valves and the volume of grease for other brands of valves will be similar.
