Non-corrosive cast aluminum prevents thermal distortion to maintain a perfect fit with the Firebox. It includes ahe innovative diffusion plate that creates even heat across the entire cooking surface, a raised plate surround to contain food and grease splatters, and a durable, heat-resistant thermal plastic handle for easy transport. Slide any excess grease through the back hole into the Firebox's grease containment system.
