SmartFind G8+ AIS EPIRB - Manual

The SmartFind G8 PLUS AIS EPIRB includes an AIS location signal and an infrared optical signal (night vision) to facilitate the detection of survivors in low light conditions.

McMurdo SmartFind G8 PLUS EPIRBs benefit from an AIS positioning signal, visible to vessels equipped with a nearby AIS receiver, and an optical infrared signal (night vision) to aid detection of survivors in low light conditions. Infrared is detectable at greater range and in poorer conditions than standard EPIRB lamps, further accelerating recovery times.

This is a multi-channel satellite EPIRB. Robust 406 MHz GNSS with GPS and Galileo receivers and unique integrated AIS. optimized for the new MEOSAR system. Additionally, this EPIRB comes with unique SmartTransfer support to prevent accidental activationntel. Once manually removed from the holder, the EPIRB is activated manually or by contact with water.
