This SystemPod for power can be mounted on the dashboard at the using the SK135 Stanchion Kit, or mounted high using the SK129 Stanchion Kit.

Structural Rigidity – Gen3 improvements now include thicker gauge acrylic coated ABS material that improves strength and provides better structural rigidity. This thicker material allows for greater sealing. Greater rigidity.uctural pressure is high, the less flexion there is during tightening and the more uniform the pressure on the joint. The excellent UV stability of acrylic is combined with the durability of ABS. The acrylic cap protects the ABS from UV and its potentially damaging effects on plastic.

SystemPods are designed to withstand the harshest and wettest offshore sailing conditions. Gen3 improvements include a thicker silicone outer gasket with an improved flush fit. The Poran Microcell Polyurathane internal seal is now 50% thicker and is not subject to "defined compression" like many rubber compounds. This is important when you need to open the SystemPod in the future in order to repair your electronic devices. The seal will continue to do its job.

Chrome Nickel Plated Stainless Steel – We use all 316 stainless steel hardware that comes with every NavPod. The large round head tamper-proof screws have deeper sockets for the NavPod wrench for better holding power when tightening than the screws used on our Traditional Series NavPod. For NavPods Gen3, we provide tamper-proof nickel-chrome-plated stainless steel screws for added security combined with a little style!
