High gloss material
NavPods are made with a custom co-extruded ABS material. We use the best resistant materialant to UV. offers a high gloss white finish that matches gel coated fiberglass. Gen3 improvements now include thicker material which improves strength and provides better structural rigidity.

Waterproof seal
All NavPods are made with a dual system gasket providing excellent sealing between the front and back of the NavPod to protect your marine electronics. NavPods are designed to withstand the harshest and wettest offshore sailing conditions. Gen3 improvements include a thicker silicone outer gasket with an improved flush fit. The internal EPDM gasket is now 50% thicker and is not subject to "set compression" like many rubber compounds. This is important when you need to open the NavPod in the future to service your electronic devices.

Nickel-chrome plated screws
The NavPod usesAll stainless steel mounting hardware comes with each NavPod. Large round head tamper-proof screws have deeper sockets for the NavPod wrench for better holding power when tightening than previous screws.
