PedestalPod 45° models easily position 20? off deck, located near the bow and at a 45° angle for easy viewing while fishing. This allows anglers to easily reach and access the fishfinder/chartplotter to change the range, zoom or even to control the trolling motor. Designed to resist impact, vibration and moisture penetration, the 45° PedestalPods are made with thick ABS material coated with UV-stable acrylic and are built specifically with structural rigidity in mind. Built on the proven technology of NavPod's popular PowerPods line, the 45° PedestalPods are also made with a double seal system that provides an excellent seal to preventthe projections of the electrical connections, thus guaranteeing the reliability and longevity of the marine electronics.
The screens are easily installed in the pre-cut face of the NavPod. The sturdy, powder-coated aluminum base tube measures 3? in diameter with a 5? round base and has a large 1.75? opening, providing ample space to route and hide wires inside for a very clean look. PedestalPod 45° models protect wires and connectors from water intrusion, UV exposure, or damage caused by snagging and pulling connectors from their sockets.
The Pre-cut designs are available for 7? at 12 o'clock? displays from all major marine electronics manufacturers.
