Compatibility with S57/S63 cards
Keeping charts up to date is an essential element in ensuring the safety of all those at sea. TZ Professional is now compatible with the official S57/S63 formats. Official S57/S63 maps are updated weekly. These cards respect the norm S52 developed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). The iconography offers a simplified display to improve the readability of nautical charts on the screens.
Advanced route management
Route planning is of the utmost importance for all maritime professions. Our new technology ensures the safety of a route from its creation: Thanks to color codes (green/red) it is possible to know instantly if the depth is sufficient for the safe passage of your boat. An automatic route assistant will provide you with information on the optimal departure and arrival time, taking into account tides and currents.
AIS Features
The Configuring the AIS can sometimes be complex. Our new AIS module allows complete configuration of all information directly in TZ Professional (Status, Destination, etc.). Furthermore, it is nows possible to receive and send AIS text messages from TZ Professional. This system will allow simplified, free and individual communication with all boats equipped with AIS.
Safety cone
The new safety cone is a feature in compliance with the IMO rules. It takes into account information from vector maps to detect isolated hazards and shallow areas. If an obstacle is detected inside this cone ahead of the boat's path, an anti-grounding alarm will be triggered automatically.
Optional voyage data recording module
This new module, which is offered as an option, offers the possibility of saving all the information received from the sensors connected to TZ Professional (GPS, radar, AIS, etc.). It is particularly useful in the event of an incident because it allows you to review all available information relating to the boat's environment on that date andtime data.
