The system is designed for modern mid-range sailboats that have limited space to mount a standard linear drive. The drive is very responsive and has little resistance to feedback when in "Standby" mode, making it very suitable for racing yachts.

Recommended for yachts up to 32 feet ( 10 m) with a maximum displacement of 13,200 Ibs / 6,000 Kg.

The system includes a drive unit, a steering cable and a linear drive connection kit. The drive unit can be mounted horizontally or vertically in any convenient location. The length of the steering cable is determined by the relative position of the rap drive unitport to linear drive connection kit.

The MDRESYS-E kit is suitable for most sail and power boats with a mechanical steering length less than 32 feet (9.75 m) and a displacement less than 13,200.
