Grey Instant Seal Manufacturer The Right Stuff - 5 oz

Specially designed to operate under higher torque loads associated with engines with closely spaced bolt patterns (typically import vehicles). This production product is blowout resistant, allowing watertight seals to be manufactured and commissioned in just one minute. Safe for sensors, Right Stuff GRAY seals instantly, forming a reliable, durable elastomeric rubber seal that outperforms pre-cut seals. Specified by leading import OEMs, this material is resistant to powertrain fluids (oil, coolant and ATF) and performs in environments up to 450°F (232°C) continuously; 500°F (260°C) intermittent.

Applications:

Automobile - Suggested Applications: Automotive Gaskets, Valve Covers, Oil Pans, Transmission Pans, Thermostat Housings, Water Pumps, etc.

Instructions:

Clean and dry rooms. Cut the cartridge tip. Attach and cut the nozzle to the desired opening at a 45° angle, and insert it into a standard caulking gun. Apply a continuous 1/8" to 1/4" bead to one surface, surrounding all bolt holes. Assemble the parts within five minutes, tightening the bolts to the recommended torque levels. The material fills any surface imperfection. To reuse the package, leave a 1/2" length of material overhanging the nozzle. The hardened material will form a protective cap. To reuse, carefully remove the cap and dispense as before.

NOTE : Not for use as a cylinder head gasket or on parts in contact with fuels.
