The Right Stuff 1 Minute Gasket™ Gray Instant Rubber Gasket Manufacturer - 10oz

Specially designed to operate under higher torque loads associated with motors having closely spaced bolt patterns (usually imported vehicles). This product is burst resistant, allowing watertight joints to be made and commissioned in just one minute. Safe for sensors, Right Stuff GRAY seals instantly, forming a reliable, durable elastomeric rubber seal that outperforms pre-cut seals. Specified by leading import OEMs, this material is resistant to powertrain fluids (oil, coolant and ATF) and performs in environments up to 450°F (232°C) continuously; 500°F (260°C) intermittently.

Applications:

Automotive - Suggested Applications: Automotive Gaskets, Car Coversupaps, oil pans, transmission housings, thermostat housings, water pumps.

Instructions:

Clean and dry parts. Cut the cartridge tip. Attach and cut the nozzle to the desired opening.g at a 45° angle and insert it into a standard caulking gun. Apply a continuous 1/8" to 1/4" bead to one surface, surrounding all bolt holes. Assemble the parts within five minutes, tightening the bolts to the recommended torque levels. The material will fill in any surface imperfections. To reuse the package, leave a 1/2" length of material overhanging the nozzle. The hardened material will form a protective cap. To reuse, carefully remove the cap and dispense as before.

NOTE : Not for use as a cylinder head gasket or on parts in contact with fuels.
