RED Tube of Permanent Strength Threadlocker - 10 ml
OEM specified. A high strength, permanent product that is applied to 3/8″ to 1″ (10mm to 25mm) fasteners prior to assembly. Designed to secure parts that must withstand significant shock, vibration or extreme chemical or environmental conditions. Localized heating and hand tools are required to separate the parts. Meets ASTM D5363 AN0331 (Mil-S-46163A, Type II, Grade O).
Applications:
- Automotive - Suggested Applications: Assembly with air tools, cylinder block bolts, ring gear bolts, engine bolts driveshaft
Instructions:
- Clean and dry parts using Permatex Surface Prep Activator ™.
- Shake the tube of Threadlocker well before each use.
- Remove the cap and tip from thecutting nozzle.
- Apply threadlocker to the threaded areas and assemble the parts. Refer to the datasheet for complete information.
NOTE: Threadlocker works on main parts. It is not recommended for plastics. Cured threadlocker must be heated to 500°F (260°C) before the parts separate.
