Applications:
- Automotive - Suggested Applications: Cylinder Block Bolts, Ring Gear Bolts, Driveshaft Bolts; Engine block cup and core caps, water pump seals, hub and shaft assemblies.
Instructions:
- Clean partsand dry using Permatex Surface Prep™ Activator.
- Shake the bottle well before each use.
- Remove the cap and cut off the nozzle tip.
- Apply threadlocker to the threaded areas and assemble. parts. For cup/core applications, apply sealant to both parts. For cup/core applications, apply putty to both parts and assemble the parts according to standard practices. Refer to datasheet for complete information.
NOTE: Threadlocker works on metal parts. It is not recommended for plastics. The cured thread locker must be heated to 500°F (260°C) before the parts separate.
