Raymarine P79S Smart transducer with SeaTalkNG adapter with A80373 and A06045 Marine Navigation & Instruments
The P79 Adjustable In-Hull Depth Transducer is ideal for boats with fiberglass hulls that are looking for quick and easy installation, high-speed performance, or for those who want to minimize drag. The transducer installs inside the boat hull, transmitting and receiving echoes through the solid fiberglass bottom, without any protrusion from the hull. The P79 comes with an innovative flange that installs inside the boat hull using quick-setting marine epoxy. No cutting or drilling is required. Using built-in markings, the flange is aligned to match the dead rise angle of the boat hull. Once installed and made liquid tight, the flange is filled with non-toxic propylene glycol antifreeze and the active transducer cap is attached. Finally, the transducer cap is dialed in and locked in place for a straight beam and returnsmaximum echo. The P79 design accommodates a wide range of dead rise angles from 2 degrees to 22 degrees. This transducer is intended for use on vessels with solid fiberglass hulls up to 5/8 inches thick. The P79 can also be used on aluminum hulls less than 3.8 millimeters thick.

P79S Smart™ sensor with SeaTalkNG adapter with A80373 and A06045
The P79S brings depth intelligence to your boat. Featuring Airmar's Smart™ sensor technology, the P79S delivers processed depth data directly to the onboard network for multiple displays to use.
The P79S includes an aluminum plastic mounting baseborn on the central line and secured inside the hull. Then it is filled with non-toxic antifreeze. The transducer is inserted into the base and adjusted for the appropriate offset, ensuring that the beam will be directed downward for maximum echo returns. Antifreeze provides the best means of transmission through solid fiberglass and into the surrounding water. The main advantage of an in-hull transducer is the lack of protrusions outside the hull, making it the perfect choice for towed or lifted boats. Designed for small boats up to 8 m (25') with a strong fiberglass hull.
Airmar's intelligent sensors incorporate microelectronics: the transducer element and signal processor are only a few millimeters apart. The depth transducer signal is processed directly inside the sensor itself. Everything needed to receive data frome depth is a simple cable to a compatible network or display. Available as an analog sensor or digital smart sensor capable of transmitting in NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000 format.
Features:
- Depth only
- 60 W
- 235 kHz frequency avoids mutual interference with other echo sounders on the vessel
- 7° beamwidth
- Depth Range:
- The NMEA 0183 model has a maximum depth of 100 m (330')
- The NMEA 2000 model has a maximum depth of 150 m (500')
- Installed with a hand adjustable base. No cutting is required.
- NMEA 2000 certified cabin assembly
- No holes to drill
- Installation in hull can be done while boat is in water
- Urethane transducer with adjustable plastic mounting base
- Available in NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000 standard
- Certified NMEA 2000 or NMEA 0183 cable
- Installed with a hand-adjustable base
