The unique tooth profile and cam geometry are designed to grip without damaging the string. A multi-spiral spring embedded in the upper part of the cam generates an almost constant torque. This constant torque guarantees a secure cleat of even the smallest lines with minimal abrasion or wear to the cable and low line entry and exit efforts. THEThe C-cleat's lightweight, ultra-stiff carbon fiber composite cams are corrosion-free, experience virtually no tooth wear, and are non-abrasive to the rope.
