PWC 500 GPH Automatic Pump

In new generation sensing bilge pumps, the 500 GPH S Series pump operates on the impeller resistance principle. The pump will turn on every 2 1/2 minutes for approximately one second to detect the presence of water. If water is present, the pump will detect resistance and continue to run until all water is removed. After that, it will start checking for water again every 2 1/2 minutes. Water is controlled between 1/8" and 3/8". Improved design and performance mean our new 500 GPH pump will produce this flow at just 12 volts instead of 13.6 volts as previously required, more typical of on-board voltage supply. Our new generation of Rule pumps include check valves and to do this we have created a hidden vent to prevent airlock. Under each strainer tab is a small hole that ventscue any air trapped in the pump housing, thus avoiding airlocks. Rule features true electromagnetic suppression (EMC) and a built-in thermal cell that protects the pump and container when things get too hot. They are the smallest automatic pumps on the market.
