Seaview SP4S Large MFD Sailboat PodThe SPOD is a pod for sailboats and catamarans. There are five different box sizes to fit almost any chartplotter or instrument on the market. Seaview designed the SPOD so that the back of each box has a continuous radius that matches the stainless steel pod clips. The result is a precise viewing angle defined during installation for the customer. The module fits the majority of steering racks from Jefa, Whitlock and Edson and can be customized for other systems. Stainless steel clamps attach to 1", 1.125" and 1.25" rails. Security screws are used to hold the SPOD together. A waterproof gasket is used to keep water out inside the pod, while a GORE-TEX ventilation vent allows hot air to escape without letting water in.       The SPOD is a pod for sailboats and catamarans. Expanding on Seaviews modular mounting concept, Seaview developed a sailboat pod design with a similar concept. There are five different box sizes to fit almost any chartplotter or instrument on the market. Seaview designed the SPOD so that the back of each box has a continuous radius that matches the stainless steel pod clips. The result is an accurate viewing angle during installation for the customer. The bracket fits the majority of steering racks from Jefa, Whitlock and Edson, and can be customized for other systems.

      Stainless Steel Clamps

      The stainless steel clamps will attach to 1", 1.125" and 1.25" rails.

      Security screws are used to hold the SPOD together. A gasketWaterproof is used to prevent water from entering the interior of the pod, while a GORE-TEX ventilation vent allows hot air to escape without letting water in.

      Optional accessory stroller

      One of the unique capabilities of this SPOD is the ability to add optional side pods (SP1BOX). Currently no other sailboat pod on the market has this feature. Depending on the size of pod box you choose, you can mount one to four of these accessory pods. This offers the customer many flexible solutions to optimize their configuration.
