The SDD -110 operates on a working frequency of 120 kHz, so it will not interfere with other onboard sounders. This compact unit - measuring just 4.3" easy-to-read numbers The large four-digit LCD display offers five levels of backlighting, for optimal visibility in all ambient light conditions.

As the SDD-110 is a one-piece system, it does not require no black box siren or the complicated wiring associated with network fish finders. Instead, the 120 kHz transducer plugs directly into the back of the unit for quick and easy installation. The SDD-110 uses a through-hole transducer. inexpensive 2" shell witha beam angle of 38 degrees. This allows for easy installation and correct beam orientation on most hulls without the need for a fairing block.

As well as providing accurate water depth data , the SDD-110 also has a visible trend indicator to indicate whether the depth is increasing or decreasing. Audible alarms also alert the operator of dangerous shallow conditions or if water drops below a selected depth - useful for fishing.

The SDD-110 also has an output NMEA-0183 depth data source that can be interfaced with other onboard devices. equipment. Similar to SI-TEX's popular SST-110 temperature gauge, the SDD-110 is a drop-in replacement for the venerable Datamarine offshore digital fishfinder, popular for many years on many sport fishing vessels and work boats.
